I had been telling Deakan all day that Emily was going to come babysit him and Maverik tonight while mommy and daddy went on a date. We were out petting our cat that is just about gone, she is very sick. I asked Deakan if he would like a bunny to pet instead of a cat. He said "yeah, maybe you and daddy can go get me a bunny when Emily arrives."
What 3 year old uses the word arrives? He is so funny, some of his common phrases right now are "Oh gosh" and "ugh bother."

I wanted to remember all the cute and funny things my son Deakan says and does throughout his childhood. He is my oldest child and has taught me what it means to have unconditional love. He is smart and sweet, cautions and curious wich makes and interesting combination.
